اليوم أكفر بالعروبة
هذا ليس شعراً منظوماً أو نثراً منفولاً
هذا ما يسمى في الأدب... غضب
السعودية تتبرع بمليار ونصف للبنان
الكويت تودع نصف مليار دولار للبنان
الأردن يرسل مستشفى ميدانياً للبنان
الإمارات ترسل قافلة سيارات إسعاف للبنان
تونس تعلن الحداد ثلاثة أيام على أرواح أبرياء قانا في لبنان
والحبل جرار
لبنان وفلسطين، يا توأم الرجولة والعزة والصمود، لكما الله ونفسيكما
عندكما تنتهي الرجولة والشرف بورك لكما فيهما
من همّه بعد اليوم أن يُنعت حريصاً على شرفه عربياً مسلماً فليرفع إحدى الرايتين لا سواهما
اليوم تكسرت باقي الرايات
اليوم باتت تلك الرايات وسمة خذلان وعجزٍ وعار
اليوم تغرز باقي الرايات في التراب كرؤوس النعام
من شاء أن يخرج منها راية فليطعن بها صهيونياً أو يطعن نفسه أشرف له
لبنان وفلسطين ليست بحاجة لأموالكم وعونكم
أنتم من بحاجة لأن تحموا شرفكم
لبنان وفلسطين لا يحزنهما نقص تبرعاتكم
ما يحزنهما حقاً فشلهما في إفهام الطلاب الفاشلين معنى أن يكون المرء رجلاً
أعلم يقيناً أن العرب في قرارة أنفسهم يبتهلون إلى الله بالدعاء
لا لأن ينصر الأبطال في فلسطين ولبنان
بل لأن يحرق النفط العربي كي لا يطالب الأشراف بقطعه
وأن يزلزل الأرض تحت الجيوش العربية كي لا يندد الأشراف بصمتها
وأن يكتشف الفلسطينيون واللبنانيون بقدرة قادر أنهم ليسوا عرباً فيكفوا عن إيذاء طبلة الأذن العربية بولولاتهم

And all true. The Ummah is one people and you need to alleviate the suffering of the Lebanese even more than the Lebanese need your help.
For what it is worth, I recommend direct aid where ever possible. Find a family and sponsor them. Relief organizations, even at their best, can not deliver the full benefit of your effort.
From here on, we disagree.
I believe these people needed peace and deserved protection. They have been cheated out of both.
If you truly love them, remember who has brought the calamity upon them. Those who are so filled with their own arrogance and self-importance that they attack the Zionists from between the legs of Lebanese women and leave them unprotected to die for nothing at all. Israel ravages Lebanon as a wild animal, but who goaded the animal with no plan or ability to handle it?
Be sure you help a family, not a fool.

Thank you for your comment? I'm totally with you on that we are the ones who need to help our brothers and sisters, Muslims or Christians, in Lebanon and Palestine. And Alhamdulellah this is what we have been doing here for days now.
I don't think it's fair to blame Hizbullah for the suffering of the Lebanese, for his attack was in a combat battle which in no way justifies the disproportionate attack on Lebanon. I believe the Zionists were ready for such a war even if a Lebanese threw a lit cigarette by mistake on the Israeli side of the borderline.
It's us who should be blamed. There is a lot that we can do for them, there are many pressure tools that we can use as long as we free ourselves from apathy and selfishness for a moment.
