Urgent Action Alert :: It's all in your hands now
Dear All,
Yesterday I posted an Action Alert in my blog titled "Action Alert - Nicole Kidman shame on you!" . I criticised the 84-celebrity statement published in Los Angeles Times blaming Hamas and Hezbollah for the civilian casualties in "Israel" and Lebanon.
I asked people to take action by boycotting the celebrities, and by writing to them denouncing their false statement and educating them about the true situation and history of the Middle East conflict.
Since then, two Zionist Journalists, Tim Blair (The assistant editor of the Bulletin weekly magazine and the x senior editor of the Time magazine and Fox News ) and Jules Crittenden (The reporter, columnist and City Editor of the Boston Herald) started an extensive effort to get as many pro-Israelis as they can to enter my blog, copy the celebrities contact list and use it to thank the celebrities for their full-of-lies statement.
Now it's YOUR time to work. If it is a matter of number let's show them who wins the battle. Let's show them what real dedication means.
I'll post the signatories mailing list here again. Write a short, clear and straightforward letter and send it to one or some of the signing celebrities. Tell them they were wrong and tell them why.
Please give it few minutes of your time and few pennies from your pocket.

You know, Awad, the murderous ideology of Islam has been at war with the rest of humanity for centuries. But because Islam is a recipe for disaster in any society it infects, the Islamic countries have been so backward for so long that for centuries we in the rest of the planet forgot Islam's venomous hate for the rest of the human race. I don't claim to know the answers to this situation, but I can predict with a high degree of certainty that the armchair warriors claiming to be writing words of support are the same weak-kneed wonders who supported the invasion of Iraq. Um, a couple of factual corrections for you Ramadan.
(1) As footage from Israeli drones show, Hezbollah fighters launching rockets take cover in the nearest civilian building at the first sign of reprisals, thereby endangering their own civilian population.
(2) At Qana and other locations Hezbollah abused the bodies of dead children by hauling them around for countless photos. Your "green helmet guy" is proof of this. Have a look at some of the photos from that day.

Let’s think all together with a situation that could happen any where… a real life example…
Years ago you were at school, one guy has taken your pencil and he is using it now... also kids around are borrowing the pencil from him though its yours… what ever was your reaction to that guy, may be you were crying and may be you have tried to kick him in order to have your pencil back, regardless of that… who owns the pencil you or him? If all kids around thought that the pencil is for him, do you believe the same? What that kid should do?
A family living safely, they work daily come back home to sleep safely, they did not think deeply that a neighbor could hurt them or is able to steal their things… there was no need for weapons since they are all living safely, yes, may be it was very wrong to expect that all people are sweet-heart ones… yes, it is a fact that people should be prepared for any danger that comes but this time it was not the case…
… your neighbor came at night, you were sleeping, the neighbor has a gun “go out…, I’ll kill your kids if you did not move and now”… what the family should do… a child said “no way, it’s our home”… that’s it as the kid’s body was bloody that moment… the family went out, left their little warm home however, they are all thinking that they will be back very soon…
Later, the neighbor is living in that house, happily with a family and work… also the house now looks much better very nice with modern techniques… so wonderful!
Can we consider that “neighbor” a thief? Or does he own the house since house has another new look in addition it was the neighbor’s hard work which made it great?

Akram, great work! I agree with Ramadan here. Not one single person who claims they are going to send letters of "support" to the hollywood losers will actually do it! (if there were email addresses, they might try one or two, but letter writing, no dice!)
I personally thoroughly agree that those signing that petition or letter deserve to be told that they are only jumping on a bandwagon that will keep them on the Hollywood gravy train. Any decent human being could never sign such a letter and ignore that Israel was the aggressor, that it committed war crimes, and that it had not even the slightest right to destroy the country that it attacked.

Thank you very much for your comment abnd support. I do understand the difficulty in sending letters but unfortunately these are the only contacts I could get. We are trying to overcome this by making a petition and get people to sign on it then to send the signatures along with a letter to each of the celebrities. You can use the same technique in Italy if you wish too. Write a letter and get people to read it and sign if they agree with its content.

You know, Jabal, Zaki wrote a petition at Petition On Line, (for the Arab League). It was relatively easy to set up; we worked on it for a few hours and then he submitted it, and in minutes, it was up. You could do something similar (an open letter to these "stars") and we bloggers could send it and distribute it to all of our contacts.
I really admire your work in getting the addresses, but it is quite difficult to write, print, get to the post office (many of us are not in the US, so the cost is also considerable, if we add all the names), and a petition could possibly also gain more momentum and adhesions. Let me know if you would like to do it, you, Umka and I could compose one and you could set it up, (one person or organisation does that) and all the bloggers can collaborate in spreading it around.
